Grant graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a degree in Music, Commercial Composition and Technology. Musical Director on the UK/Hong Kong tour of ‘Avenue Q’, he also toured with ‘Seven Brides for Seven Brothers’, and previous shows include We Will Rock You; Rent; Into The Woods; The Drowsy Chaperone; Copacabana; Spring Awakening; Little Shop of Horrors; La Cage Aux Folles, Putting It Together and more, along with prominent pantomimes including The Grove Theatre and the Theatre Royal Bury St. Edmunds.
Grant spent several years as Musical Director for Royal Caribbean International, travelling and performing from Alaska to Argentina. Having worked for four years with Peel Entertainment, Grant now continues to work in that industry via Live Business as musical supervisor and arranger. Through Live Business he is also the composer for TUI, providing the soundtrack to their TUI Blue and Gold resorts worldwide.
Grant has been Head of Musical Theatre at The International College of Musical Theatre for three years. He was previously Assistant Head of Musical Theatre at the Urdang Academy and has enjoyed working at many of London's leading academies, including Mountview, Bodywork Company Dance Studio, ArtsEd London and East 15.
When not teaching, Grant can be found working as a jazz pianist, whilst maintaining his passion for composing and performing original material.
